Joint owner and managing director, Nick has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years.
He founded Forkingout over 20 years ago, taking his inspiration from the quality ingredients being produced locally. He formed a company ethos on producing quality food made from local ingredients created by trained full time chefs and served by a smiling team.
He still makes bread each week and loves food, golf, rugby and cycling.
Joint owner and managing director, Mike has been with the company for 19 years, playing a major role in the formation and growth of the business.
Mike studied Hospitality at Salisbury College and worked as a chef in local restaurants before joining Forkingout, quickly growing within the company to his present position.
Mike loves cycling, golf, football and food.
Head chef Sam has grown up with Forkingout, starting there at 15 – over 16 years ago now! He studied at Salisbury College and completed his Level 3 qualification in house.
He is a total foodie and lives and breathes cooking. He prides himself on his attention to detail and the high quality he sets himself and his team.
He loves fishing, football, golf and food.
Sous chef Warren has grown up honing his exceptional skills with Forkingout. He joined the team over 15 years ago.
Another total foodie he did all his training in-house becoming and excellent all round chef and an integral part of the team.
Canapés are his specialism, wowing buffets, gatherings and lunchtime parties all across the region.
He loves his golf football, cycling and food.
The newest member of the kitchen team, Matt joined Forkingout 8 years ago, straight from school.
Another ‘foodie’, Matt always prides himself on the quality of his food, both its taste and presentation.
Matt loves cycling, food and Lego.
Laura, our dedicated office manager, has been an integral part of our team for over a decade. As the leader of our front-of-house staff, she is often the friendly face you encounter during open days, taster events, or through email correspondence.
A true food and drink enthusiast, Laura enjoys engaging with our valued customers. Outside of work, her interests include socializing, exploring the great outdoors on foot, and playing netball.
Millie is the ever-cheerful presence at the Larmer Tree, where she leads our front of house team alongside Laura. You might have encountered her during open days or at your taster session.
Since joining our team, Millie has accomplished her Level 3 Food Hygiene, Cellar Management, First Aid, and Personal License courses.
Millie thrives on engaging with our customers, and when she’s not at work, she enjoys indulging in breakfast outings and attending a weekly dance class. Jive happens to be her top pick!
