We are delighted to share that Forkingout has been added to the preferred supplier list for weddings and events at the beautiful Fonthill Estate.
It is always exciting to build new relationships with venues, particularly when they share our love of creating memorable, personal and beautifully run celebrations. Earlier this year, we met Oonagh at the Bake Barn wedding showcase and quickly discovered a shared passion for weddings, great food and helping couples bring their plans to life.
Oonagh was excited by our enthusiasm and felt Forkingout would be a great fit for Fonthill Weddings. From there, we arranged to meet again in May to discuss joining their preferred supplier list and to be shown around the three stunning wedding venues on the estate.
Deer Park
Our first stop was Deer Park, a beautiful hilltop venue with wonderful views overlooking Fonthill Lake.
It is a perfect setting for more intimate weddings and celebrations, but also offers plenty of flexibility for larger events. For couples wanting to make the most of the views, there is the option to add a marquee and create a truly spectacular setting for the day.
With its peaceful location, open views and natural charm, Deer Park is not only ideal for weddings, but also for all kinds of private celebrations and special occasions.
Quarry Wood
Next, we visited Quarry Wood, a wonderfully unique setting positioned to make the most of the stunning lake views.
The space feels almost made to measure for a marquee, giving couples the chance to create a wedding that feels relaxed, personal and completely their own. It is the perfect choice for a DIY-style wedding, with the added magic of being able to get married in the woods before celebrating into the evening.
One of the real highlights is the silent disco dance pit, a brilliant and memorable feature for couples who want to dance into the early hours and give their guests something a little different.
Bake Barn
Our final stop was Bake Barn, a venue we have been lucky enough to work at many times before.
It was every bit as beautiful as we remembered, with its gorgeous stone barn standing proudly as you approach. The venue offers ample space to tailor the day exactly as you would like it, whether you are planning a relaxed countryside wedding, a stylish celebration or something completely bespoke.
From our point of view, the purpose-built kitchen is always a very welcome sight. It makes such a difference to have a venue that has been designed with events and catering in mind, helping us deliver the food and service our couples expect.
Perfectly set back from the A303, Bake Barn combines countryside charm with easy access, making it a fantastic choice for weddings and celebrations.
Bringing Dream Events to Life

Each one has its own personality, from the hilltop views of Deer Park, to the woodland magic of Quarry Wood, to the timeless beauty of Bake Barn. Together, they offer couples a wonderful choice of settings for their day.
